Beer Profile
Biére de (Avant) Garde
This Biére de Garde is a strong, malt-forward French-style ale, clocking in at 7.2% ABV. Fermented at low temperatures and then lagered, it achieves a notably smooth body and a mellow, refined character. The flavor profile is dominated by bready and malty notes, enhanced by the addition of toasted French bread during the brewing process. A subtle sweetness, derived from a touch of local honey, complements the rich malt base. This beer pours with a clear amber hue and offers a complex, bready aroma, finishing clean and balanced.
