Beer Profile
DIURNAL NIGHTS
Diurnal Nights is a wild fermented sour ale aged for over four years in wine barrels previously used for Petit Verdot and Malbec grapes. This extended maturation imparts complex layers of tartness and vinous character, blending bright, fruity acidity with subtle tannic notes. The aroma features vibrant grape esters alongside rustic funk and earthiness from the wild yeast. Its medium body carries a lively sourness balanced by the nuanced depth of barrel aging, showcasing flavors of black cherry, dark berries, and a whisper of oak. The result is a dry, tart ale with a refined, wine-inspired profile.
