This Red IPA balances significant hop presence with a rich, caramel-forward malt profile typical of the style. It pours a deep reddish-amber hue with moderate clarity. Aromatically, notes of pine and citrus zest from American hops mingle with hints of toasted bread and dark fruit from the specialty malts. On the palate, the initial bitterness quickly gives way to complex malt sweetness, featuring flavors of toffee and light roast. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied, finishing dry with a lingering hop resin character.
