This Imperial Stout presents a complex profile, starting with a deep, dark appearance and a viscous mouthfeel characteristic of the style. It was aged extensively in Weller Antique 107 Bourbon barrels, imparting distinct notes of oak, caramel, and warm whiskey. Layers of flavor unfold, featuring rich dark chocolate and roasted coffee derived from the Sweet Bloom Mexican beans. A subtle sweetness from Vermont maple syrup provides balance, while Madagascar vanilla beans contribute a smooth, creamy finish to this robust, barrel-aged brew.
