South Sound Brewers Fest

South Sound Brewers Fest is a farm-to-glass beer festival held at the McMillin Farm Collective in Puyallup, Washington, in the farm country between Tacoma and the Mount Rainier foothills. The festival debuted in August 2026 with about ten South Sound breweries pouring unlimited tastes across a working farm, backed by live music, food trucks, and farm tours - a harvest-season street fair energy in an actual field rather than a convention hall. It is a 21-and-over event.
The lineup is deliberately local: host brewery McMillin Farm Brewhouse alongside South Sound names like Odd Otter, Top Down, Firemind, and Griffin, drawn from Puyallup, Sumner, Tacoma, and Buckley. The breweries compete for bragging rights in a friendly judged competition, with a crowd-voted favorite decided by the festivalgoers themselves - so every taster ticket doubles as a ballot.
The festival is a fundraiser for Celebrate HARVEST, a Pierce County nonprofit working to preserve family farms through agritourism and scholarships for hands-on farming education. That cause shapes the whole event - the venue is a real farm collective, and the pour list leans into beers brewed with farm-grown and local ingredients.
