Sound Machine Music Festival

Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania

The Sound Machine Music Festival is South County Brewing Company's summer music festival in Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania, in the rolling farm country of southern York County near the Maryland line. For one August day the brewery's grounds turn into an outdoor concert venue - a multi-act lineup running through the afternoon and into the night, food on site, and South County's beer poured steps from where it is brewed.

South County has built its reputation on hop-forward IPAs and a deep rotating lineup, and the festival works as a showcase for both: a full day of live music with a tap list that runs from crushable lagers to the hazy releases the brewery is known for across central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. It is a lawn-chairs-and-sunshine kind of festival, drawing from York, Lancaster, Harrisburg and the Baltimore side of the line alike.

Fawn Grove is a destination trip for most attendees, and the brewery leans into it - the festival is as much an excuse to spend a summer Saturday at the source as it is a concert. If you make the drive, South County's taproom pours the full range year-round.
