The Badass Beer Fest is Tampa Bay Brewing Company's annual craft beer festival, held each November at the brewery's home in Tampa, Florida. Now past its twelfth year, the festival brings dozens of Florida and national breweries together for an afternoon of unlimited samples, rare pours, and the loud, unpretentious energy the name promises.
Tampa Bay Brewing Company is one of the anchors of Tampa's beer scene - a family-run brewery pouring in Ybor City since the mid-1990s, well before Florida's craft boom. The festival reflects that history: long-standing Tampa breweries pour next to the newest taprooms, and the lineup doubles as a snapshot of one of the fastest-growing beer regions in the country.
November is prime festival season in Florida - the heat breaks, the afternoons are made for outdoor pours, and the Badass Beer Fest has become a fixture on the Tampa fall calendar alongside the city's other beer traditions.
