Brewery Profile

Wild River Brewing & Pizza Co

Wild River Brewing & Pizza Co. originated as a pizza restaurant established by the Miller family in Cave Junction, Oregon, in 1975. This location, situated in the Illinois River Valley, has operated continuously since its founding, becoming a local landmark. A 7.5-barrel brewery was integrated into the original restaurant structure in 1990, giving the Cave Junction location the distinction of having the longest continuous operation of any brewpub in Southern Oregon. The brewpub offers 8 or more handcrafted ales and lagers, focusing on traditional styles derived from European recipes and ingredients. In addition to the brewing operation, the establishment is known for its unique pizza style, which features toppings extending to the edge of the crust and a distinctive "party cut" serving method. The menu also includes sandwiches, burgers, and broasted chicken. Wild River maintains a long-standing partnership with Taylor's and Sons, a local producer that exclusively supplies specialty sausages, including Linguica and Sweet Italian Sausage, to all Wild River locations. The company has expanded its restaurant operations to a total of five locations ranging from Brookings Harbor to Medford.
