Brewery Profile

Muffleheads Brewing Company

At 4931 Fitchville River Road in Wakeman, this brewery gives visitors a local craft beer stop with a straightforward taproom-and-gathering-space feel. A guest walking in should expect the focus to be on house craft beer selections, with the day’s specific pours best confirmed directly at the bar or through the brewery’s current social media updates. Muffleheads Brewing Company also builds part of its visitor experience around live music and food trucks, so the atmosphere may change depending on the schedule. In a small-city setting like Wakeman, that makes it a practical stop for people looking for a local place to sit, have a beer, and spend some time rather than a quick packaged-beer pickup.

Travelers moving through this part of Ohio often look for breweries that feel easy to use: a place to try local beer, catch an event if one is happening, and pair the visit with casual food. Since specific beer names and styles are not provided here, visitors should not assume a particular lineup before arriving. The better approach is to treat the taproom as the place to ask what is currently pouring, what is new, and what may be available for different preferences. The food truck element also gives the stop some flexibility for visitors who want a casual meal with their beer, while live music can make the brewery more of an evening destination when performances are scheduled.

For planning, Muffleheads operates Thursday through Sunday, with varied evening and weekend hours, and it is closed Monday through Wednesday. Visitors should check current hours before making a trip, especially if timing the visit around food trucks or live music. Outdoor seating is available, which can be useful in warmer weather or for groups that prefer a more open-air setting. The brewery is dog-friendly, so guests traveling with a dog have an option here, though it is still wise to confirm any day-specific expectations before arriving. Contact is available by phone at 440-225-8272 or by email at Muffleheadsbrewery@gmail.com, and the brewery maintains Instagram and Facebook accounts under the name Muffleheads Brewery for updates.
