Brewery Profile

Jackass Brewing Company - Lewisburg

For visitors looking for craft beer in Lewisburg, Jackass Brewing Company is a local stop built around house-brewed beer and a food menu rather than a bar-only experience. The Lewisburg location gives patrons a place to sit down for freshly prepared food while choosing from beers made under the Jackass name. Its identity is partly tied to a lineup known for irreverent naming, so the tone is more informal than formal. What a visitor finds is a brewery setting where the beer list, meal service, and casual social space are the main draw, with the taproom serving as the best place to see what is being poured that day.

Travelers moving through central Pennsylvania often look for stops that connect a town visit with an easy meal, a local drink, and time outdoors. This brewery fits that pattern because it sits by the local rail trail system, making it a practical stop before or after a walk, ride, or other trail outing. The beer selection is described broadly as a host of house-brewed options, so visitors should expect variety without assuming any particular style will be available. For someone exploring Lewisburg, it works as a craft-beer break that does not require separating the beer stop from dinner or from a low-key outdoor plan.

Practical details are straightforward. The Lewisburg location has a dog-friendly outdoor patio, which is useful for travelers with dogs who want to sit outside rather than leave a pet elsewhere. The patio is adjacent to the rail trail system, so it can be convenient for people arriving from nearby outdoor activity. Corn hole boards are available near the outdoor seating area, adding a simple recreation option for groups who want to linger. Since specific beer names, current taps, and menu items are not fixed from the available information, the taproom is the place to confirm the day’s pours, food choices, seating conditions, and any weather-related patio limits before settling in.
