Brewery Profile

HiJinx Brewing Company

In Allentown’s beer scene, HiJinx Brewing Company is a local craft brewery with a stated identity built around playfulness. Its own description uses the phrase “tomfoolery in every pint,” which gives visitors a clue about the tone before they arrive: informal, beer-focused, and not presented as a formal restaurant or historic brewing institution in the available information. For someone walking in, the most grounded expectation is a brewery visit centered on the current beer selection. The published details indicate that HiJinx serves a variety of beers, though specific styles, flagship releases, and seasonal offerings were not provided. That makes the on-site list, rather than advance assumptions, the best guide to what is actually being poured.

Travelers moving through the Lehigh Valley and eastern Pennsylvania often look for brewery stops that add a local point of reference to a day in the region. Some visitors are comparing small producers across nearby towns, while others are simply looking for a place to try beers made in the city they are visiting. HiJinx fits that kind of itinerary as an Allentown-based brewery with its own theme and beer program. Because no verified list of styles is available here, it is better to approach the visit with flexibility: ask what is fresh, what is rotating, and what represents the brewery well that day. The “variety of beers” noted on its website suggests that visitors may find more than one direction on the menu, but the exact range should be confirmed in person or through current brewery channels.

Practical planning should stay simple. HiJinx Brewing Company operates in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and its online product access includes age verification, so visitors should expect standard age requirements for alcohol service and should bring valid identification. Details such as food service, outdoor seating, events, reservations, private rentals, distribution, family policies, or dog policies were not included in the available information. The taproom is the place to confirm the day’s pours, and current official sources are the safest way to check hours before making the trip. If you are building a broader Allentown outing around the stop, avoid relying on assumptions about amenities and treat the brewery primarily as a place to sample its current beers.
