Brewery Profile

Grove City Brewing Company

A Broadway address puts Grove City Brewing Company in the everyday flow of Grove City, a southwest Columbus suburb with a growing audience for local beer. At 3946 Broadway, the brewery functions as a neighborhood taproom rather than a destination removed from town life. Visitors arriving for the first time can expect the basic rhythm of a modern Ohio craft brewery: a casual room built around conversation, a bar or service area where the day’s pours are the main focus, and a crowd that may include nearby residents, after-work groups, and travelers exploring the Columbus-area beer scene. Its place in Grove City’s beer culture is local and practical: it gives the city a dedicated stop for craft beer close to restaurants, shops, and other community activity along the Broadway corridor.

Travelers drinking through central Ohio often look for a mix of familiar and seasonal styles. In this part of the state, taproom visits commonly revolve around approachable lagers and blonde ales, hop-forward pale ales and IPAs, maltier amber or brown ales, darker beers in cooler months, and occasional fruit, wheat, or specialty releases. A stop at Grove City Brewing Company fits that pattern as a way to sample what is pouring that day and compare it with the wider Columbus craft-beer landscape, which includes both long-running production breweries and smaller neighborhood taprooms. For visitors, the appeal is less about checking off a single signature beer and more about seeing how a local brewery presents its current lineup, how the staff describes the options, and what regulars are drinking.

For planning, Grove City Brewing Company keeps regular hours Tuesday through Sunday and is closed on Monday. The taproom opens at 11:00 AM Tuesday through Sunday, closing at 10:00 PM Tuesday through Thursday, 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, and 9:00 PM on Sunday. The brewery provides phone and email contact, and reservations are handled through its email address, which is useful for groups that want to confirm seating or timing before arriving. Social channels on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Untappd are practical places to check for current updates, while the taproom itself is the place to confirm the day’s pours. For visitors building an itinerary, it works well as a midday, dinner-hour, or early-evening stop in Grove City, with enough structure in the posted hours to plan around other Columbus-area activities.
