Brewery Profile

Gilla Brewing Company

A visitor looking for craft beer in Gonzales will find Gilla Brewing Company operating as both a brewery and taproom, giving it a direct role in the local beer scene rather than serving only as a packaged-beer brand. Its address at 13025 Highway 44, Suites 108 and 109, places it within Ascension Parish, where it serves its own beers to customers who come in for a taproom visit. Because specific tap lists, beer names, and seasonal releases are not part of the available public details here, the best expectation is a local taproom experience centered on Gilla’s current house-made pours.

Travelers moving through this part of Louisiana often look for places that show what a community is drinking beyond national brands, and a brewery taproom is one of the more straightforward ways to do that. Some visitors may be seeking easy-drinking beers after time on the road, while others may be interested in hoppier, darker, or more experimental styles if they are available that day. Gilla Brewing Company fits that kind of stop by offering a variety of its own craft beers in Gonzales, though the actual selection should be confirmed at the bar when you arrive rather than assumed in advance.

For planning purposes, Gilla Brewing Company keeps regular weekly hours: 4 PM to 10 PM Monday through Thursday, 11 AM to 11 PM on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday hours that end at 5 PM. Those extended Friday and Saturday hours make it a more flexible stop for weekend visitors, while the weekday schedule suits an evening visit. Details such as food service, outdoor seating, events, pets, and family policies are not specified in the known information, so the taproom is the place to confirm the day’s pours and any current amenities. The brewery can also be reached by email at bobby@gillabrewingco.com for questions before a visit.
