Brewery Profile

Cahaba Brewing Co

Visitors entering this Birmingham brewery step into a spacious setting housed within a large former warehouse, offering a distinctive environment that combines industrial character with a welcoming atmosphere. The establishment serves as a gathering spot for locals and visitors alike, featuring a lineup of fresh craft beers alongside a selection of spirits. Its role as both a brewery and distillery creates a unique dual focus uncommon in the area, contributing to its growing reputation within the city’s evolving beer community.

Travelers exploring the craft beverage scene in this part of Alabama often seek out breweries that provide a range of authentic, locally produced options. Many are interested in tasting beer styles that reflect regional preferences and craftsmanship. This brewery’s offering of both beer and spirits presents an expanded experience for those looking to explore beyond traditional brews. It fits well into itineraries focused on sampling diverse craft beverages, allowing visitors to engage with multiple facets of the state’s alcoholic beverage production in one stop.

For those planning a visit, the taproom is the primary place to sample what’s currently available on tap and to get a sense of the brewery’s current offerings. The large warehouse space provides ample room for patrons to gather and enjoy their drinks in a casual environment. Distribution throughout Alabama suggests that the brewery’s products can also be found beyond the taproom, but on-site visits remain the best way to experience the freshest pours and the full range of the brewery’s craft.

Tucked away in Birmingham, Alabama, Cahaba Brewing Co. is a dual-threat destination, crafting both beloved local beers and intriguing spirits. Operating out of a massive former warehouse, this spot has become a community hub, pouring fresh pints and distributing quality craft throughout the state.
