Brewery Profile

Beer Army

In New Bern’s beer scene, this stop is defined by a brewery brand built around military themes and a facility that combines production with direct retail. Beer Army operates a production system aimed at regional distribution within North Carolina, so the taproom is not just an add-on; it is the main public-facing point for the brewery. A visitor should expect a setting centered on draft service and packaged beer to go, with the brand’s military-oriented identity shaping the presentation. Public details about the brewhouse size, equipment, or production capacity are not specified, so the clearest way to understand the operation is through what is available across the bar and in packaged form on the day of a visit.

Travelers moving through coastal and eastern North Carolina often look for breweries that give them a sense of the local beer market without requiring a formal tour or a long stop. Beer Army fits that kind of visit because its beers are made for North Carolina distribution while the taproom provides direct access to the current lineup. The brewery is described as producing a rotating selection of core and seasonal beers, which means the experience may change by timing rather than following a fixed list year-round. Since no specific beer names or style specialties are publicly detailed here, visitors should approach the tap list with some flexibility and ask staff what is currently pouring, what is returning, and what is available only for a limited period.

For planning purposes, the taproom is the place to confirm the day’s pours and any packaged products available for carryout. Draft service is part of the known visitor experience, and packaged beer gives travelers an option to take Beer Army home or continue sampling later. Other amenities, such as food service, patio space, tours, private events, or family and pet policies, are not defined in the available information, so those details are best checked directly with the brewery before making a special trip. The same is true for hours and seasonal changes in availability. As a visitor stop, Beer Army is most straightforwardly understood as a production-focused North Carolina brewery with a taproom that functions as its main retail outlet.
