HUMOS SANTOS (HOLY SMOKES)

This Belgian Quadrupel presents a complex, dark fruit profile balanced by the traditional spicy yeast character of the style. At 8.8% ABV, it pours a deep mahogany hue, offering aromas of dark candied sugar, plum, and subtle alcohol warmth. The addition of Morello cherries introduces a tart, slightly acidic counterpoint to the rich, malty sweetness typical of a Quad. On the palate, notes of fig, raisin, and caramel merge with the distinct flavor of ripe cherries, finishing warming and full-bodied with a lingering, dry fruitiness.
