Alunogen is a barrel-aged sour that spent a year resting in Chardonnay barrels, followed by an additional year of bottle conditioning. This 6.3% ABV beer presents a complex profile with lively acidity and subtle funk. Aromas of dried apricot and lemon lead into flavors of tropical fruit, complemented by nutty undertones and a touch of toasted oak from the barrels. The mouthfeel is bright and refreshing, balanced by a nuanced depth that reflects its extended aging process.
