The Morrigan is an Imperial Stout aged in Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels, imparting rich layers of vanilla, oak, and toasted caramel to its robust malt foundation. Released annually around Thanksgiving, this 2019 vintage showcases deep flavors of dark chocolate, espresso, and subtle dried fruit, complemented by a smooth, warming finish. Its dense, opaque black appearance is matched by a creamy mouthfeel and a complex aroma highlighting bourbon warmth alongside roasted barley notes. As the oldest keg from the cellar, this release offers a matured character with integrated barrel influence and a balanced bitterness.
