Midnight Black IPA is a hop-forward Cascadian Dark Ale balancing substantial bitterness (67 IBU) with a dark, roasted malt character. This sessionable Black IPA pours deep black with a persistent tan head. The aroma features bright citrus and pine notes derived from generous dry-hopping. On the palate, the initial burst of hop flavor is smoothly integrated with gentle notes of dark chocolate and roasted coffee. At 5.8% ABV, it maintains a medium body and a notably smooth mouthfeel, finishing dry with lingering hop resin.
