Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout

This massive Imperial Stout, a collaboration with Great Notion, has matured for two years in oak barrels. The extended aging process imparts deep notes of vanilla, oak tannins, and warming alcohol complexity to the already rich malt base. Expect an opaque black appearance and a dense, viscous mouthfeel. Aromas suggest dark chocolate, espresso, and dried fruit, leading to a flavor profile dominated by roasted barley, molasses, and a lingering, smooth bourbon character.
