Starve: Exhibit I is a robust imperial stout with an intense 16% ABV that reveals complex layers from extensive aging. This blend has matured for 46 months in barrels previously housing Utopias, apple brandy, and Weller Wheated bourbon, imparting rich notes of dark fruit, oak, and vanilla. Conditioned on Thai banana and Madagascar vanilla beans, the beer offers a creamy, nuanced sweetness balanced by deep roasted malt flavors. Aromas feature ripe banana, warm vanilla, and toasted oak, while the full-bodied mouthfeel carries hints of bourbon warmth alongside dark chocolate and subtle spice.
