Beer Profile
Long Way Home (Barrel Aged Collab w/ Kueka Lake Vineyards))
Long Way Home is an American wild ale crafted with native yeast sourced from Keuka Lake Vineyards in New York. This 4.6% ABV farmhouse ale showcases a complex fermentation profile developed during four months in used Blaufränkisch wine barrels. The beer gains additional depth and subtle fruitiness from a ten-day aging on fresh Blaufränkisch pomace, resulting in delicate vineyard-inspired tartness and earthy funk. Lightly effervescent with a soft, dry mouthfeel, it offers aromas of cider apple, red berry, and wild yeast character, balanced by a restrained acidity that lingers on the palate. This collaboration highlights the terroir-driven nuances of both beer and wine.
