Bourbon Barrel-Aged Belgian Dubbel

This robust Belgian Dubbel is aged for eight months in bourbon barrels, imparting complex layers of flavor to the traditional malt profile. At 11% ABV, the beer pours deep mahogany with aromas of vanilla and warming bourbon spice. The palate is rich with caramelized sugars and notes of dark dried fruits, such as fig and raisin. The barrel aging contributes a smooth, warming character and subtle oak tannins, balancing the inherent sweetness of the Belgian yeast and malt bill.
