Beer Profile
Bourbon Barrel-aged Heat Shields are for Sissies
A deep mahogany Belgian Quadruple, this winter seasonal spent time aging in bourbon barrels, imparting complex notes of vanilla, oak, and charred sugar. The traditional dark fruit character—raisins, fig, and plum—melds seamlessly with the warm spice and spirituous heat from the barrel. It pours with a modest tan head and offers a rich, full body with a smooth, warming finish, characteristic of high-ABV Belgian styles.
