Beer Profile

Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin XVII

This barrel-aged interpretation of the classic Imperial Stout offers a complex tapestry of dark malt flavors. Poured deep black with a modest tan head, the aroma delivers rich notes of vanilla, charred oak, and warming bourbon, layered over roasted coffee and dark chocolate. On the palate, the beer is full-bodied and viscous, presenting flavors of dried fruit, molasses, and subtle brown sugar, balanced by a gentle hop bitterness. Extended aging in oak barrels rounds the edges, providing a smooth, lingering finish with pronounced alcohol warmth.
