This imperial stout has been aged extensively in Westward Whiskey barrels, developing a complex profile that marries dark malt intensity with oak and spirit character. It pours opaque black with a substantial tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and molasses are layered with vanilla, caramel, and a distinct woody spice derived from the whiskey aging.
