This 2022 vintage Barleywine pours a deep amber hue, offering a robust malt profile balanced by a moderate hop bitterness. The aroma presents notes of dark fruit, fig, and toasted caramel, derived from the complex blend of Pale, Vienna, and crystal malts. At 10.1% ABV, the body is full and warming, delivering flavors of toffee, molasses, and subtle brown sugar. A restrained hop presence from Cascade, Centennial, and Nugget provides structure, preventing excessive sweetness and contributing a faint earthy spice to the long, lingering finish.
