This Barrel Aged Imperial Stout pours deep black with a creamy tan head. The 13% ABV stout offers a complex aroma profile, featuring distinct notes of rye whiskey, complemented by vanilla, coconut, raisin, and bittersweet chocolate. On the palate, dark fruit flavors of plum and raisin merge with burnt sugar, dark chocolate, and ripe cherry. The aging process imparts a noticeable character of charred oak. With a soft, full mouthfeel and gentle warmth from the alcohol, this stout maintains a balanced 50 IBU bitterness against its rich sweetness.
