Monkey’s Uncle

Monkey’s Uncle is a Belgian Tripel brewed as a seasonal release in June, showcasing a complex interplay of fruity esters and spicy phenols typical of the style. It presents a golden amber hue with a delicate, white frothy head. On the nose, expect notes of ripe pear, clove, and subtle honey sweetness. The palate offers a medium-full body with flavors of malt sweetness balanced by gentle bitterness and a warming alcohol presence around 9-10% ABV. The smooth carbonation enhances a dry, slightly bitter finish. This well-crafted Tripel was recognized with Gold at the Trappist Virginia Craft Brewers Cup 2019 and Silver at the Can Can Awards 2019.
