This American Robust Porter features a rich, dark brown color with a creamy tan head. The aroma opens with deep chocolate notes complemented by a subtle cherry tartness. On the palate, roasted chocolate malt delivers a smooth, bittersweet foundation, while cocoa nibs add depth and a hint of natural bitterness. The addition of over 120 pounds of cherry puree during fermentation imparts a pronounced, juicy cherry character that balances the chocolate, offering a luscious combination of sweet and tart flavors. With a moderate 6.5% ABV, this porter has a full-bodied mouthfeel and a lingering, satisfying finish.
