Heron is a sour golden ale aged nearly a year in wine barrels, then refermented with abundant blueberries from Homecoming Farm. It offers a bright, tart profile with delicate berry notes layered over a subtle wine-inflected base. The aroma features fresh blueberry and gentle oak, while the palate balances crisp acidity with fruity sweetness, finishing clean and refreshing. At 5% ABV, this beer combines the light body of a golden ale with complex sour character drawn from extended barrel aging and seasonal fruit additions.
