Beer Profile
DEVILS LEAP
Devils Leap is a cliff in Wyoming that has an elevation of 5,200 ft. Our Devils Leap imperial stout is equally as dramatic and complex. It starts off as a traditional ‘Export Stout’ in the spirit of those brewed in the British Isles for export to the high courts of Russia in the 18th century, but is quickly brought home with the addition of El Dorado County Petite Sirah. This merriment emboldens the already present dark fruit and candied cherry found in this beer and heightens it with a cleansing acidity and age.
Imperial Stout with Petite Sirah • 10.3% ABV
