Planifolia Batch 5 is a robust Imperial Stout aged in a blend of premium bourbon barrels, including Eagle Rare, Heaven Hill, Cutwater, and Blanton’s. This high-gravity stout, clocking in at 14.4% ABV, features a substantial addition of organic Tahitian vanilla beans. The aging process imparts deep notes of rich bourbon and oak, complementing the beer's base profile of chocolate fudge and dark roasted malt. Expect complex layers of vanilla sweetness, reminiscent of German chocolate cake, balanced by subtle fruit character suggesting dark chocolate-covered blueberry. It offers a decadent, warming finish.
