This Imperial Stout registers at 12.4% ABV, having matured for eleven months in Castle & Key bourbon barrels. It presents a rich, velvety texture, pouring deep black. The conditioning process incorporates chocolate fudge, almonds, and Madagascar vanilla beans, contributing layers of profound sweetness and complexity. Aromas of warm oak and dark chocolate lead to a flavor profile dominated by nutty undertones and smooth vanilla. The extended barrel aging provides a noticeable but integrated barrel heat, balancing the decadent fudge character.
